“Presidents Message” – Jack Kindler

Welcome
Welcome to the new residents of our planned community. We know that you will be excited and pleased living at Yankee Trace. Please make sure Towne Properties is aware of your presence. Call 222-2550 and ask for Nicole. Also please make sure you have received your copy of the Covenants and Restriction from your builder or previous owner.

May we strongly recommend you print YT Covenants Made Easy and the various spec sheets and Design Review Application? This will give you a quick review of the different requirements of living in a planned community.

Ask the Association

The following are those questions asked of me most frequently by homeowners.

When are Quarterly Fees Due – 10th day of the first month of each quarter. (Jan, April, July, Oct) after which a 10% late fee is assessed.

Resident Street Parking overnight - Streets are Centerville streets and their ordinances apply. The Association requests that homeowner’s park in their driveways because of our narrow streets, which presents a problem for emergency vehicles.

Real Estate signs – City ordinance allows only one sign per property. Our community allows only a specific style sign, which is available at Signetics 439-3970. Realtors are aware of these requirements.

Satellite Dishes – Require Design Review Committee approval for location. Spec sheet available on web site.

Snow Plowing – Dedicated streets are plowed by the City. Alleys and private eyebrows by the Association.

Mail Boxes – Homeowners responsibility. Repair and replacement parts are available in small quantities from the Association. Call 885-2000 to obtain pricing and availability.

Lawn Mowing – Weekly April through October weather permitting.

In Summary – I appreciate the support many of you have given the Board over the years and hope you will continue to do so. I have inquired with property management concerns how our Association compares with others in the area. Their response is that we are way ahead of the others due to our long-term planning and financial reserves planning. We are proud of this evaluation.
